About this forum

This is a new, independent community inspired by the classic forum format. It is not an archive of the previous site, and does not represent its former operators or members.

Everyone is a guest

No registration, email address or profile is needed. Forum topics and replies are public. Personal rooms are unlisted and require their shared token to read or send messages. Anyone with that token has the same access; there are no verified identities. Choose a reasonably private token and share it only with your group. Keep conversations friendly.

Recording and privacy

Conversations are recorded in full, including public topics, replies and personal-room messages. We also keep detailed request records: times, pages or actions, browser details, IP addresses, connection metadata, response status, database timings and errors. These records are available to the site operator. There is no automatic expiry of conversation history or database request records.

Room access tokens are stored as one-way hashes. The token stays in page memory and is cleared when you leave or reload. Request logs omit access tokens, authorization headers and cookies. Room messages are separate from public forum content, but are stored on the server and are not end-to-end encrypted. No account or cookies are required.

Plain text, simple conversations

Messages use plain text. HTML, images, embedded content and file uploads are not supported. A shared posting limit helps reduce spam across each forum or room.
