For a few days now I can't connect to my sopcast client. I've heard it was blocked as there was a channel called 'red shirt tv'.
Anyhows, I can't watch the play off final on the internet now, so gonna give the missus the good news in a minute so she can stop watching her drama and I can watch the footy.
Does anyone know of any GOOD FREE alternatives? Veetle is wank (on my PC anyway-Justin TV is SHIT as well). Anything playing through media player is also a big bag of wombat jism.

Can't you access the site via some anonymous proxy, copy the link you want and watch it in your media player? I don't remember how sopcast works exactly but I'm pretty sure you don't need to be on their website to watch it.
Chances are the govt blocks only "http" protocol, not "mms" or whatever they use to stream the video
