As of March I will be renting and living in a 2 bedroom apartment very close to Phra Khanong BTS station.
I’m looking for a flat mate to take the second room and to share the cost of rent and bills.
The apartment is furnished including a television, a microwave and an electric hob. It’s a large space with a balcony, and the bedrooms (both double rooms) are fairly evenly split.
The complex has a shop, 2 swimming pools and a gym.

Ideally, the person will be a young NESpeaking teacher like myself.
The rent is 8000baht each plus water and internet bills – electricity is free if we use under a certain amount, but I’m yet to see whether this is realistically possible - although high up, with windows open, I aim to avoid using the air con.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking accommodation close to the BTS at a price less than most decent student apartments of similar proximity – the extra living space will give you extra room to ‘breathe’ and, if similarly motivated to myself, an area to stage tuition sessions.

Gazbo a bit of personal information might make the advert seem more appealing, are you a bloke or a bird? Are you looking for a bloke or a bird or are you not bothered? Do you smoke or drink? Can the other person smoke and drink or not? How about "guests"?

I'm 21 - 22 next week - and male, I don't mind whether you are male or female. I'm friendly and outgoing but if you prefer your privacy I can respect that. I drink but rarely to excess and would pick, say, a trip to the cinema over a trip down the Khao San road. I don't smoke and would rather you not, but If you do and were willing to use the balcony I'm sure it would be no problem - though I'll have to check with the landlord. In terms of guests - I've got plenty of friends in Thailand at the moment all signing up to kip on the sofa - If you want people to stay - sure, no problem. Hopefully we'll both make friends in Bangkok and it'll become a fairly sociable 'pad'. I'm planning on getting me a Wii as soon as I've got the money - I'm not an avid gamer but I look forward to smashing you at Mario Kart!

I used to live in that condo. 8K a month is a pretty good deal, if sharing with a stranger is your thing.
We paid 17k a month including cable.
Not bad - but it's a shame both the pools are kids pools - only about knee / thigh deep.
What you do behind closed doors (please make sure the door is closed) is none of my business.
Thanks for the recommendation wobble. Shame about the pools - though I saw some adults having a laugh in them whilst I was there so can't be too bad. If I remember right, cable is included in the rent.
If I was going to live there, you sound like the perfect roommate. But, I'm going to be there in May for a couple of months.
