Is anyone familiar with this apartment complex 'Sukhumvit Manson' on Suk 71? I found it listed on Thaiapartment.com but there's no contact details or website for it that I can see.
Full address is "11 Soi Ploenpit , Pridi Banomyong 5, Sukhunvit 71 Rd., Phrakhanong - Nua, Wattana Bangkok 10110"
It sounds good, delux aircon rooms with fridge, hot water, hi speed wifi etc and only 350 meters away from the BTS for 5,500B per month but I'm surprised there's such a cheap apartment so close to the BTS in a decent area. I've stayed Sukhumvit 71 before, soi 42, and it's a decent area.
Would be great if anyone was familiar with it and could confirm whether it's decent or not?

its not 350meters away soi 11 is like 15-20min walk. 7baht and 5mins-15mins(depending on traffic) if you catch the 71 bus.
I don't mind a 15-20 minute walk. Have you stayed there and can confirm whether apartments are decent?
Prah Kanong may well test your patience if you don't like crowded, busy and noisy places.
Is Phra Kanong particularly busy compared to the rest of BKK / sky train areas? I stayed near-ish there before but don't remember thinking it was anymore busy than anywhere else.
It's hardly the most salubrious area of Bangkok

I can't say I noticed it being any more run down than the rest of BKK, it's not exactly known for being pleasant is it?
